About me

I am a senior research scientist at PAII Inc. in Palo Alto, CA, where I work on reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) for training large language models (LLMs). Previously, I worked on 3D computer vision, and deep learning.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Science from WashU co-advised by Dr. Mark Anastasio and Dr. Hua Li, and worked on computer vision in biomedical image analsysis. I has also spent time in UIUC as a visiting Ph.D. student.

• Nov 21, 2022: Our paper “White blood cell detection, classification and analysis using phase imaging with computational specificity (PICS)” was pulished in Scientific Reports.
• Sept 16, 2022: Our paper “Accurate and robust lesion RECIST diameter prediction and segmentation with transformers” was pulished in MICCAI 2022.
• Mar 7, 2022: Our paper “Cell cycle stage classification using phase imaging with computational specificity” was published in ACS Photonics.
• Feb 7, 2022: Our paper “Live-dead assay on unlabeled cells using phase imaging with computational specificity” was published in Nature Communications.
